a video is super and very modern..but there is something more intimate about the written word..write him a poem or a letter and let him know how and why he's the one for you..all the things that he does for you..emotionally, intellectually, heartwise...pour your heart into it..he'll be able to pull this out and read and reread it on his own time..esp. when he's missing you the most or scared...you have the chance to make him feel fantastic each and everytime he reads it..very powerful...Merry Christmas and thank you, to both of you, for your service to this country...

What you're doing immediately might want to be the appropriate answer, seek for acquaintances or relations to consult. you're in the mind-set of doing 2 of the most difficult issues in the militia existence, one is being a militia significant different, the different is being a mom. i'm at present deployed, its been 9 months already. i have been deployed in the previous also. My spouse and that i have a daughter, so we are no longer a approaches out of your project. We make it through speaking with one yet another, e-mail, messenger, telephone if accessible. The better you communicate, the better you'll experience correct. Please keep in mind that i'm no longer attempting to assert this may be basic, and really it will be better sturdy on you than it really is on him. Deployments are continuously better sturdy on the guy staying decrease back. despite the indisputable fact that you'll make it a lot less puzzling on your self through organising a recurring and being supportive of your husband. i'll upload this. Your existence as a militia couple will be a project yet there are a selection of rewards besides. This 6 months aside will make a at the same time as jointly that much better particular. I wish you the finest of success.

What are his favorite snacks or sweets? Put those in there.
Write a personal letter or poem, letting him know that you are thinking and missing him.
Make him a small stocking of things he made need, a video would be nice, but not all bases over there have a t.v and what not so just find out if he has access to it. If he doesn't, they have these picture frames where you are able to record your voice. Do that and take a picture of you and him and put it in there. Its the little things that matter.
Another idea, get a tape recordor and tape the song that you danced to at your wedding, you also can record a message if you want.
God Bless you and your husband.

My husband is away this Christmas too, in a country that does not celebrate Christmas. This move was his choice, just as your husband made the choice to be in the armed forces. I tell him that this is not the end of the world, it is one Christmas. This time will past and soon things will be back to normal. There are so many more worse things we might be having to go through, lets be happy this is our biggest disappointment. Then send him a tape/cam of you wishing him a sexy Happy Christmas.

Noting makes a militay man feel better than being reminded of the greater good that he is doing and appreciated for it. He took an oath to his country and its hard to remember that oath espically during the holidays when friends and family are so far away. But just let him know that his duty and service are greatly appreciated by EVERYONE back home and because he is doing what he is doing the entire country will be having a safe and happy holiday! God Bless

When I was married. My ex was in 1991 Dessert Storm. I sent him pictures of everyday events. Kids getting ready for school, eating dinner, watching tv, etc.... I sent him letters of everyday events sent twice a week. Sent him care packages of shippable food products him liked and could only get in US. Home town newspaper, some of my personal items. (hint, hint), a video of me and the kids, personal voice recordings of me saying some sweet nothings (lol), and letters with my favorite or his favorite perfume. Just use your imagination. There isn't much you can't send. HOWEVER, keep in mind the packages may be looked through by someone else.
