The song is floating in my head and it won't fully reveal itself. I remember hearing it on a country station back in 1979 or 80. It was about an old couple in a hospital and the old man wanted to be with the old woman. To me it sounded like Elvis singing it..but I don't remember who actually did. Does anyone know what song I am talking about??? It may have been an older song...but I first remember hearing it in late 70's early 80's.

It could have been Elvis, has he did have a number of songs that were country crossovers. If you could hum a little of it, I may be able to help more. Sorry.

Do you have any words to the song that you could provide us, even if it's just a line? I am a big Elvis fan and might be able to tell you if it was an Elvis song, if I had some words. With the words too, we might be able to figure out what song and who sang it.
