If your playing 2006, then yes you have to be on normal. If your playing 2007, just go to your locker room, go to the challenge machine, pick your challange, and there will be a option to go directly to the match the challenge intails directly. If you do this, you don't have to mess with your match settings or difficulty or anything.

just hit start at the chanllge screen thats how i beat them all i think u have to be on the level the challange is on tho
