I'm 39 weeks pregnant. Yesterday my OB stripped my membranes for the first time. I'm not really having any cramps but my stomache keeps tightening up all over really hard for like 15 seconds then releasing again. I've also noticed a very small amount of wetness in my underwear several different times and wonder if my water could be leaking. When is this child coming out? Help me.

Could be early labor. You want contractions to be every 4-5 minutes, lasting 60 seconds, and be painful enough that you can't really talk thru them. You also want them like this for 2 hours if it's your first baby, and 1 hour if it's not your first, before you go to the hospital. This will lessen the risk of you getting sent home. The wetness is just extra vaginal discharge that your body is making to prepare itself for birth. When your water breaks it will be more fluid, and you will leak more often and have to keep changing your pads. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you may be having Braxton Hicks Contractions. True contractions should be at leat 30-60 seconds.
As for the wetness, it could be the extra discharge that your body creates around this time. I am also 39 weeks pregnant and have gone in twice regarding wetness, but was just extra vaginal fluid. If you are constantly having to change your underwear everytime you go to the bathroom then I would think your water has broken.
