Go to >Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs and remove the new IE

You've left out a few important bits of info, but let me make some assumptions and proceed from there. I'm assuming you are using Windows XP and you've managed to get the Critical Update of IE 7 shoved down your throat and you are as unimpressed with it as I am.

Start Menu
Control Panel
Add / Remove Programs
Check the box at the top that says, "Show Updates"
Scroll down the list to find the one for IE7 update
Click on this choice to highlight and reveal buttons
Click Remove button
Rejoice because this piece of garbage is gone from your PC

get off IE all together
go to mozila.com and download firefox 2 itis a very secure internet web browser less prone to hackers and viruses.

better advice is move off microsoft to and move over to Suse Linux from Novell.com all the software is free everything you will ever need it is 5 CD's in total more secure faster it puts microsoft Xp and the New vista to shame

Have you installed the new Internet Explorer 7? if so go to control panel and add/remove it. This should bring back your IE6

Simply go to Add/remove, and remove IE7
