When I am at my friend's house in Arizona & we are tacking up our mules to go for a ride. The Sanoran desert is right behind her house. I have Jasper, he is 23 & a dressage mule. Jenny is 7 & Amish trained . Both can pack- pull a buggy- clip & load. Jasper loves to run along the drywashes- ride early in the morning we see mule deer-coyotes-owls- jack rabbits-kit foxes-turkey vultures-javelinas. The sheer beauty of the desert is wonderful- riding my trusty Jasper is priceless. The castus we are eye level with them- the wildlife really pays us no mind as they only see the mules, not us. The Southwest is very cooolest thing on earth for me!

Some music just floors me - especially blues. Nature. Lightning hitting water. Some sci fi shows, like SG1 and Voyageur- not the whole series of Voyageur, but the whole Borg thing. Freaking amazing. This whole zen existential happening. Also, the global village concept - like knowing there's people I'm sort of conversing with from everywhere. Now that's frickin cool.

I really appreciate the fact that the ground is solid enough to support weight, I really like the oxygen aspect and am particularly fond of water.

Mountains, looking at them, going up them, sitting on top, coming down them, looking back at them thinking about doing it again. That and a nice woman's smile, and perky breasts.
