I'm 29 weeks pregnant and have really overdone it lately - cleaning my house, running errands, etc. I noticed a pretty bad pain in my crotch tonight. Nothing else - no bleeding, no discharge, no contractions. Is this just because I'n stressed and have been so active, and need to take it easy? Or is this something to be concerned about?

Edit: It's not Braxton Hicks. I had those in my last pregnancy. I forgot to mention that this is my 2nd child and I don't remember this happening last time.

I had that a couple of weeks ago and especially felt the pain when I stood up. I was doing a lot of cleaning also and took a very long walk the day before. I think I had just pulled a muscle and the same with you. It's gone away now but for a day or two I felt like I couldn't even move because it hurt so bad. Just try to take it easy.

it's nothing to be concerned about. i had it throughout most of my pregnancy. My daughter found it very comfortable the sleep there and that's why i had pain. It's like a stabbing pain that comes and goes right? I wouldn't worry sometimes i would just scream for no reason because it shocked me. But try and take it easy no HARDWORK :). Have a safe and happy delivery.

It's probably nothing to be concerned about. Take it easy for a few days.
If this develops into a constant, every day, totally unbearable pain for a long period of time, call the doc. I thought it was normal for me and listened to everyone tell me (with my 3rd pregnancy) that it was nothing to worry about. I had a buildup of extra amniotic fluid that was causing extra pressure and pain.
Good luck with your baby!

Take it easy. Drink some water. Get some rest. If your that worried call your Doc. Good Luck. The baby is TOO early to come out. You wouldn't want the baby to come into the world this early. It also could be from the baby dropping. Good Luck!

Totally normal....i got that bad with all my kids! It's because of the massive blood volume you get during pregnancy! Always discuss all your concerns with your Doc to play it save!

You probably did overdo it and could of pulled a muscle which is leading to the pain. In any case, you should alert your doctor to see if he or she wants to see you to make sure that's all it is.
