No --- I see this all the time because I live Rurally, and I have to drive through National Forest Grounds and Preserves to get to my residence from the place where I am taking College Classes and other events that I participate in ...
Mostly at night -- they graze alongside the roadway, and given that the speed limit of the state highway at this point is 65 miles an hour - you need to be extra careful to look well ahead of your vehicle and watch the locations of taillights of those in front of you. Since their eyes shine brightly in the car's headlight beams -- it is time to slow down .. especially when you see them move slightly.
This becomes a problem during the open hunting season ... they are trying to evade, and also when the Deer have given birth and are mothering their fawns across the highway for the season.
The REAL scare though on this roadway is the Bears -- they are totally dark, and you never know where they are. Their mass alone makes them the more dangerous object on the roadway, and you do have to watch out when driving at night.

I was driving in the middle of no where and there were just cows grazing. Some of them just standing in the middle of the highway. I took glamour shots of them ;)
Nah, it's probably cool looking. I would just drive carefully around them. Don't want to total the car or kill a deer.

All the deer I've seen grazed in the grass, not the side of the road. I don't stop. I see that all the time. Sometimes I honk my horn or shout obscenities at them.

This is a nightly occurance for me. I cuss, swerve, and pray (not necessarily in that order). It was one of the strangest nights of my life the night a big buck went tharn from my headlights. I stopped in time, and put the car in park, and just sat there breathing hard...so was he, but he couldn't move. My dumbass finally figured out I needed to turn off my headlights, and he mozied on off the road.

I pray they don't run out in front of any cars, especially mine. I tried to stop once but they ran away.

You can, but first you should give thanks that you are still able to see something as wonderful as that left in the wild. Lord knows we are working at top speed to erase all traces of wildlife and their inhabitant.
