The republican would start apologizing for all the campaigns against their terrorist organization, and then probably try to bribe them.(hey, they're all politicians)

Isn't it a little more than slightly disconcerting that the head of al Qaeda in Iraq and the "President" of Iran both just commended the American people for voting in the democrats?
A republican would never let a terrorist get close enough to put a gun to his/her head...
A democrat would ask them if they'd like a hug...
