i will be at Laura's brother place in Mandurah, WA as at December 15 and hence will be there for christmas, I thought about comming back to Tassie for it but in the end have decided against it as I am comming back in January to see family anyway, and bringing Laura along for the ride........we'll do the usual present thing but also go and play cricket both in the local park and on the beach, go swimming and just enjoy the day.

so what will everyone else be doing for christmas this year??

Mandurah is a city south of Perth, Western Australia and Tassie is "Tasmania" of the Australian south coast, hence we are in Australia.....just thought I'd make menchin of that, we're in summer now hence playing cricket on the beach.

My boyfriend and I recently moved in together(october 1st) so on xmas eve we will head over to my side of the family's house around 5 or 6 for dinner and then gift opening. Then we will head to his side of the family's house before midnight to relax and talk and at exactly midnight we will open more gifts yay. Then we will come home(we each bought each other 2 gifts) and we will each pick which gift we want to open that night and then we have to wait till we wake up the next morning to open the other one. Im excited!

Christmas Eve I'll be going to my Mum's family 'do' - we have cold meats, salads, cakes, trifle and lots of yummy food, then we have present opening and tea and coffee and just relax. Then Christmas day we'll open presents from Santa (the youngest person in our house is 16 but Mum still writes 'from Santa' on the tags - she's so cute), relax for a while and then head off to Dad's place for more delicious food, pressies, fun and generally chilling out. It sounds like you've got a really nice Christmas planned - I hope you enjoy it and stay safe : )

My fiance and I will be travelling to her mom's house in Vernon, British Columbia for Christmas. This will be our first Christmas together, so it will be a very memorable one. It will be quite the trip from Victoria, BC to Vernon, BC with the winter weather we will likely encounter along the way. Regardless, it will be the best Christmas ever.
