I'm not going to attempt to understand this stuff .... To me, any claim that women are innately submissive is b.s. I must be a genetic anomaly to them. To the women who practice this 'LDD' stuff: You need help. If you don't want help - I hope your husband forbids you from the computer so that your naggy questions don't bother me any more... and I hope your spankings hurt. A. Lot.

To the men who practice LDD: I would love to meet you, rough you up .... and teach you the 'joy' of male submission to female authority.

I appoligize for the terse words, all ... but this is ridiculous. Search 'husband spanks' and see what you find. Apparently, some people are still living in the dark ages ....

I am a man very familiar with domestic discipline. I am the one who is disciplined and also the one with the interest. I take it seriously, I didn't want it spanking centered. I am subject to be paddled and hard, and there is a way to "neutralize" a man's erotic interests for a short few minutes. Then a spanking isn't fun, it sucks and you get what you are supposed to get. Punished. I see as many men need it as women. It may be obvious which of two adults behavior is not up to par. Possibly immature or irresponsible. The masses seem to be baffled by such an arrangement and dismiss it as silly sex games. It can be or it can be a humbling experience. I do note my wife is not really into it but has tried. Honestly it is me attempting to be objective and having her make decisions and choose ho I'm punished. "Fines" from spending money, loss of internet, having to go to bed early, losing privileges, etc. There are maybe close to 20 options she has.

Domestic Discipline or DD (never heard it called LDD before) is when a couple agree to use corporal punishment, usually spanking, to resolve their differences. Most commonly it's the male spanking the female, but in some cases the reverse, or they may agree that each of them gets spanked by the other when needed. (This is sometimes called the Spencer Plan.) And of course it also happens within gay/lesbian couples.

Personally it wouldn't be my thing. I love to spank, but purely as a fun/erotic game, with the 'punishment' element just play-acting to enhance the fun. But I know several couples that do practise DD, and in all cases it's entirely consensual and they both seem very happy with it. So if it works for them, why should anyone else condemn it, let alone get so furiously worked up about it?

The main point of marriage as listed in the Bible is to have a helper, a partner, not a servant or to ba a child to the man. I've seen those questions too, but it's not Biblical, it's abusive.

My great grandmother use to say"God made Eve from Adams rib,to walk by his side. Not his feet to be walked upon." My great grandparents were married more than 50 yrs,(they both were married once before, both previous spouses passed away).Respect is what these men need to be taught.

I'm familiar with what you're talking about. It's degrading, demoralizing, and disturbing on many other levels as well. Frankly, I think this is domestic abuse, but if the women are willing to engage in it, there's nothing anyone can do. There must be a tradeoff. The women must be getting something out of this in order for them to continue to engage in this behavior. I think that these women are insecure and emotionally underdeveloped, and they feel a sense of security by having their husband control their lives. It takes some of the guesswork out of their lives, takes out some of the confusion, and in a sick way makes them feel secure because they "belong" to someone. It's terribly sad.

I have to go throw up now. Sorry.

you can give a euphamism to just about anything these days and it is acceptable. Sounds like perverted abuse to me. people give things cutesey little names and abbreviations so as to justify their behaviors. tell it like it is and there would be an army of people protesting somewhere.
