U.S. industry is controlled by the demands of the market (we, the buyers). Unfortunately our government is NOT controlling what it should, and that is price fixing, monopolies and unfair trade practices. The breakup of Bell Telephone was a very good move, look what THAT brought us. Too many special interests now blocking similar breakups. Our oil companies are now holding back millions of barrels of oil to prop up the price (now that the election is over). In 1976 the Alyeska Pipeline was flowing at 96% flow rate, today it is under 30%, with twice as many producing wells on the north slopes. THAT is what a monopoly gets you.
Affirmative action is the least of out worries...

It would be a perfect world if everyone was fair and made proper choices in operating a business. We have ADA because until it was mandated people with disabilities were unable to enter buildings or be considered for jobs that they could perform....We have FMLA so that workers can get time off to be with family members with medical problems and not loose their job....We have COBRA so that a person that leaves employment at one company can continue medical insurance coverage....If you have government contracts the affirmative action plan compares your workforce with the available workforce in your hiring area. This is to see if males, females and minorities are getting equal opportunity for available jobs...The Labor Department has rules that need to be followed in cases of Union drives...all of these rules or laws came into being to maintain order and fairness.
When we drive through a neighborhood and the speed limit is 25mph and we are in a hurry we don't like it....but if a child darts out chasing a ball and we are able to avoid hitting the child because we slowed down, we are glad the speed limit was posted. Good laws help us!!

the gov. is violating our civil rights when they do any thing other than what was given to them in our bill of rights and that is,
1 the gov,has jurisdiction over espionage,
2 the gov, has jurisdiction over counterfeiting
3 the gov, has jurisdiction over interstate commerce
these are the only jurisdiction the fed, gov, has according to our constitution, each state is or was a independent country free to make and enforce its own law's etc but, the Kennedy's came along and they knew better than our forefathers did so they had the constitution revamped and interpreted their way, and now the gov, thru the interstate clause has complete control over the states and every thing within, has anyone else noticed how fast our country has slid backwards since the Kennedy's came on the scene? the gov, only role in the interstate commerce clause was to prevent one state from charging tariffs or fees for goods entering their state or hindering such, and people could go from state to state with out fees or restrictions etc, and control of anything being shipped interstate that would be harmful to that state, and no the gov, should get out of private businesses and any thing else they have no legal jurisdiction over, get back to being a free country again. but. lets all thank the Kennedy's for taking our freedom from us while they can drown their problems with impunity, affirmative action has did so much damage to our country it would be impossible to know the extent, but prices on all goods have gone sky high because of this and our educational system has suffered immeasurable from this communist action , we have been set back at least 100 years because of it. America was a leader in science , technology, engineering etc we came in 5th to 7th place this year ,

because of the fact it does propose government administration of the financial device, by making use of administration of potential of productions and potential of distribution. of path social-courses do not propose socialism, even regardless of the undeniable fact that actual-wingers prefer to declare that to make human beings concern them as the thank you to steer clear of having great firms lose any of their tax loopholes to pay for them. on the otherhand, additionally they say communism potential government administration, whilst it potential precisely the contrary. Communism is rather a classless stateless society. Any government that has a centralized authority that controls the financial device and the lives of the folk isn't communism it rather is a bastardized version of socialism. Communism does not happen until eventually the significant authority dissolves itself making a stateless society. some thing that throughout no way occurs on a nationwide point, that's why a communist united states has in no way rather existed and in all probability in no way will. so some distance as a socialism, you may have various stages of government administration of economics from finished equality in wealth for each individual to equivalent minimum earnings certain making larger wages in accordance to the call for for skills. additionally socialism on no account determines what style of government controls it, it ought to be a totalitarian government, a democracy, or in keeping with possibility a monarchy that controls a socialist device.
