Engine dies within two driven miles, not up to full operating temp. will start right back up. Going addition miles it still will die with no warning- just dies but always starts immediately. I have changed the fuel filter, and put injector clearner in current half tank gas. Still dies with no warning with engine cold/hot. Also changed out the leaking heater core after sitting for said month. Just stating what I've done since problem started. AutoZone's computer showed "no Code".

If it has a mass air flow sensor, this could be your problem. They are hard to test so it's better to put a known working one in and see what happens.

The best thing to do is to run some diagnostics.
Go Here----->

http://autorepair.about.com/library/ts/obd-i/bl-dtcs-31a.htm

...and scroll down below the code descriptions for a discussion of the procedure for retrieving the codes with a paperclip.
Retrieve the codes. Chances are that the codes you get will be either "18" Cam/Crank error or "34" MAF error.
If that is the case, or even if there are others, refer to a repair manual for proper DIAGNOSTICS.
Don't ASSuME that a particular code is referring to a specific component. It merely represents data that is inconsistent with rational conditions.
Diagnose first, then repair the problem, NOT the symptom. Them you will only need to do it once.

Good Luck

It's your Mass Air Flow(MAF) sensor.When I got mine & put it on & it's running like it should be. The MAF sensor cost $220.00+tax,but I got $20.00 back with the old MAF sensor.
