It would be the Royal House of Windsor. If the colonies which became the USA would not have separated from Great Britain they would still be part of the British Commonwealth with Queen Elizabeth II as their Queen. But this just wasn't meant to be.

What kind of a Monarchy?

Considering half of the USA wants to get any President out of office,

Carefully select the family, representative of the many centuries of USA history, select the family you want to be your Monarchs for at least the next 500 years.

I would suggest the Kennedy family. Many of the younger Kennedys are involved in public service in different ways.

The Gotti family, probably. Monarchies arise from ruthlessness, not virtue. Maybe the Bushes.

It has nothing to do with wealth, that is just an after effect, look at Napoleon.

It would be the decedents of George Washington, since at the end of the Revolution he controlled the army.

I'm surprised many people say Kennedy. I thought I am the only one who think they look more like royalty.

I think that the Kennedys would be a very plausible choice. I just can't imagine the Bush family doing so(nor do I want to).

Don't know who exactly, but if it's based on wealth, it would likely be a Democrat. Out of the top 10 richest congressmen, 6 of them are Democrat, and I believe they occupy the top 3 or 4, even.
