I am just wondering if that is a good score since the rating have changed from 1600

Would I be better off retaking it? Does the SAT scores help with scholarships/grants?

You did awesome! Heck no I wouldn't take that again...it's a great score. You should feel proud. The average person I think stays in the 500s range for each section, so you're above average. Mine was 1690...yeah...I took it over today...hopefully, I did better. Unless you are positive that you will do better, don't take it. I'd relax if I were you though...I think it would be unnecessary to take again.

It's a really good score. Good job! You don't have to retake it if you don't want to, but if you want to aim for a higher one, you should. The average is 1500 for the SAT.

on your score report, it will tell you the percentage of people that you scored better than. that should give you an idea of how well you did compared to others.
