go to a local auto parts store.. like kragen or autozone of pepboys or something, they usually test your alternator for free.... but chances are from what you are saying it is defenetely your alternator if there is nothing else involved, it is also possible that you might have a short somewhere in your wiring, that could also cause the battery to drain quickly.... good luck.

There is a power drain somewhere in your system. It could be a short in your alternator or it could be something else. If you charge up the battery and then disconnect the alternator and leave it over night, if there is still power in the morning, it's the alternator.

a battery shop will test the charging system for free with the engine running it only takes a couple of minutes

sounds like you have a bad alternator or a short somewhere

good luck

before you buy a new altenator take it to your local parts store... any parts store worth shopping at can chek the operation of your alternator. besides it may not be the alternator that is the problem... you could have a short in the electrical system causing it to ground out and thus draining your battery.

It could be the alternator or maybe a bad terminal. If I were you I take the alternator off and take it a autozone to get it tested. It's free!! If thats not the problem you should look into the terminal.
