I don't want to have to have it cleaned. But it has a stale smell from being stored. Andy ideas on how I can make it smell better?

Turn it inside out. And Spray the lining with Fabreeze. After the lining dries. Wet a few paper towels with the fabreeze. And wipe the jacket down. After you wipe the jacket down. Towel it off to remove excess moisture. Spray the lining with Fabreeze again. And hang it to dry. You can use the odor eliminator one. That is either scented or unscented.
I did this with mine and it worked great.
Good Luck!

Saddle soap. Makes the leather soft and supple (and incidentally clean), and smells great. The way leather should smell, instead of all flowery.
