Ok the former payee for my fiancee (his mother) did not give his pay checks from his job to the ss office like she should of, and he was over paid in his disbility. His Mother lived off his pay checks. Made him out to be a mental case. She thinks that he should still contact her for anything, and tries to control him and what hi does. Makes me feel as if I am dumb and I do not know what I am doing. she LIES to us about things. She makes it out to that his friends were theives. She will NOT say she did nothing wrong and is trying to pin something on me that I did not DO. I am very good at getting things into the ss office. he owes ss a lot of money when he did not have NO control over his checks. when he lived in ca. NOT even his paychecks from his job. HIS mother did everything and she had checks on the table when I was there. He put in 3 or 4 paychecks that were on the table from his job that had not been taken to the bank and I saw checks from ss that were just laying on the table.

If he was a minor or unable to manage his own finances, then the mother as the payee should be held responsible for paying back the money owed.He shouldn't have been receiving SSI benefits if he is able to work,it is the payees responsibility to report any income changes to SS immediately.
Your best option would be to have HIM contact SS directly and speak to someone there. While I know you want to help,it really isn't your place to get involved since you are not directly involved in the case..He has to deal with this on his own.

I really don't understand your question.
SSI pays the individual who applied for the benefit and, if found appropriate, that individual is paid.

If it is a minor, they are paid based upon death or disability or injury of their parent, or themselves.

You didn't say how old the son is, or how it is possible anyone could live off of the son ?

You really don't make sense.

You bring her to the social security office & talk with a worker tell them the problem & they'll take it from there.Good Luck
