Yes yes... How would you possibly be able to tell if your water broke during sex... all of a sudden a gush came out. I'm 39 weeks and have heard its fine to have sex until your water breaks... now how can we tell if its my amnotic fluid! HELP! Thanks! :)

Wow! Sounds like you might be in labor. When my water broke, it was like water running down my thighs. Also, my mucous plug came out, so that could be another sign for you. ( The mucous plug is like a brownish looking discharge). Trust me you will know if it's your water rather than vaginal fluid.

amniotic fluid is clear and can either leak out slowly or gush out all at once. it could also be tinted with blood. from my experience i couldn't confuse it with anyone else. and usually, not always, but usually when your water breaks you'll feel a pop, almost like the baby just kicked downwards really hard.

if its amniotic fluid then it will still be coming out.it might be just little trickles of it but it will still be coming.i would sit down and relax for a while and see if you feel wet down there a few times before worrying.if theres obvious liquid coming out and its not just normal discharge i would call your doc and let them know.sex can bring on labor so i dont see why it couldnt be just that!!congrats!!

You will have a sudden rush of yellowish brown fuild coming from the vaginal area
