Battledrome is the game I want to play, it was a bad *** game. I tried the command prompt and that didnt work. Any ideas? Any programs that may help?

Yes. You can, as a matter of fact. There are a few games that will work on their own in Windows XP and that is just because of just because. For those games that aren't as lucky, use the following program: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1

There are instructions, but here it is, simple:
-To change settings find the cfg file and change the text (there is info in the files downloaded)
-1. To play the game, MOUNT C [directory location of battledrome], so MOUNT C C:\Games\Battledrome\ or something like that.
2. Assuming you have Battledrome and you tried the command prompt. I think you can take it from here. It acts as a virtual command prompt so most DOS commands work.

Right click on the .exe file normally used to start the game and click on properties from the menu.

Click on the third tab "Compatibility".

Click the first tick box "run this program in compatibility mode for:"

Make sure the drop down box is on "windows 95"

Try running the program again.

Try adjusting the other setting under "Compatibility"

If that fails check out the DOSbox web site. It is a program that can be used to run DOS programs under Windows XP
