Now I know Ravens just lost really badly tonight, but do you think they have a chance at all at going to the superbowl? They are my hometeam, and I'm obviously going to support them no matter what, but I just want to get some other opinions.

Thank you for your question.
While they lost last night, it was by six points and they flogged . Further, as they are 9-3 and coming 1st in the AFC East they will likely make the playoffs.
The playoffs are a seperate season as the Steelers showed earlier this year and the Cardinals did in baseball. The Ravens have shown that they can get into winning streaks and if they have one in the playoffs, they can win the Superbowl.
If I was a Baltimore fan, I would feel cautious optimism.

the only downfall for the ravens(my team too) is that they have a propensity for winning games in a row only to lay an egg as if they never were even worthy of their 9-3 record.teams loose yes they do but they display a pattern that shows that in the midst of loosing a game, they still play like a team worthy of their record.
The saving grace for baltimore is that they lost 4 games in 2000 and still ran the table in jan of 2001 to win superbowl 35.This team is much like the team of '00, swarming defense and an offense that is still capable of good things and they're still healthy.unfortunatley the only chance they have is to only face n.england or indy in the afc title game, hoping that other teams they can beat knock them off.it will be difficult to get to miami facing n.england in a divisional game followed by indy in the title game. the good news is if they do go they will win

I think they have as much of a chance as the Colts, Patriots and Chargers. Any one of them could get to the superbowl.
