In my personal experience and observations as a female, men almost always prefer very slender women. Not anorexic, but very thin and petite. Why do so many claim to prefer average, "thick", or curvy women? Is it just because they can't get slim girls? Or maybe they just like bigger breasts (but thin bodies). Please, men, tell the truth...

Honestly, I like thin girls (not overly thin)! I'm not saying that I don't like "thicker" girls at all, I just prefer thin girls. I also like girls with smaller breasts, but that's just a personal opinion that you probably don't care about.
I don't know about other guys, but I know that whether a girl is big or small I could still like her and still fall in love with her. Other guys say they prefer "thicker" girls because they either really do like "thicker" girls or they don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

Because many do like thicker girls. Some men love very slim women and some love more curvy women.
And I can honestly say as a woman who has been both stick thin and more curvy, I definitely get more attention now as a size 8 than I ever did when I was much thinner. For some it might be the other way round, like the poster above.
There is no universal standard because tastes vary! HTH : )

As a man, I can say that for the most part guys prefer the bigger breasts (but thin bodies) sort of frame on a woman. They prefer a woman that is "curvy", to woman that is just petite. Not to say that they really want "thick" women, but we do appreciate a little T&A.

This question is so valid. Even the men who have thick girlfriends are unusually nice to petite girls, I've noticed. I've been on both sides of the fence because I used to be 30 pounds heavier, about 130 lbs at 5'4, and guys in general are definitely nicer to me now that I'm a little underweight.
But I did get hit on a lot more when I was thicker. That probably does mean that guys found me to be more in their league then.

Well I'm not a dude but when men say they want thick girls that means she has to have a smaller stomach but have hip with a booty and some breast to go with that package. Sometimes they say they want a really thick girl and than when they see her naked than they don't like it. That was my brothers case when he was with this quote on quote thick girl. Most dudes preference of a thick girl is Beyonce, she has the shape and she has a small stomach. So I think some guys don't know what thick is and they get it mixed up with the girl being chunky and not thick.

so if youre skinny go and get sum meat on you. that look is pysically sickening and would never dream of being witha skinny girl. neither would be any of my friends. lets put it this way if i seen a skinny coat hanger and a girl with hips , *** and breasts and a tum id go straight to her. that is hot. women are meant to be curvy and hot. skinny girls ae there the worst and always have the worst attitudes. honestly guys curvy girls are far prettier, better in bed and always have the best personality.

Every guy I've ever dated has liked me just as much weighing a little more than when I'm at the weight *I* think I should be. I fully believe that I could gain 20 lbs and my husband would still find me sexy, as long as I found myself that way, too. Guys appreciate looks, but they're not heartless. Personality DOES matter.

my husbands friends like girls who aren't anorexic, but who are thin. they don't like fat or over-weight girls. they want healthy, fit girls. that is what they find most attractive.
they also like bigger butts & boobs. they say boobs are nicer to look at, but they do get in the way. so, for actual sex, they prefer a handfull rather than gigantic.

I think it depends on the guy but more now than ever thick is in and skinny is out.
