The administration is finally so trapped and lost in its own lies and incompetence, it has already thrown so many of its own under various busses, and it has lost so much credibility at home and abroad that their attack dogs no longer have teeth – maybe they will gum Powell a little.

They will probably ignore what he has said. When Bush became President, I felt the only honorable, brilliant man in his administration was Powell. I thought he, somehow, could stop Bush from starting a war in Iraq (which I knew Bush would attempt for whatever reason they could fabricate). I held on to my illusion that Colin Powell was a man of integrity and bravery. Instead he became an accomplice to one of the biggest crimes ever committed. I guess he has finally found his conscience, but it's too late now.

were the democrats mendacity at the same time as they stated Saddam had WMDs? Kennedy, Kerry, both Clintons, Allbright, Gore,Dean and a variety of of different (leaders?) in the democratic party are on record as putting forward this. evaluate this earlier you raise previous BS. it really is already dried out so none will stick on the wall.

The only news items I could find on "Colin Powell's Regrets" were from CNN, now a subsidiary of Al Jazeera, and a Dubai news source called Gulf News. I would prefer something a little more credible before I buy into what you are saying.

The Bush administration will do anything to discredit Powell. Unfortunately, he was the only honest person in the Bush administration. Too bad he's no longer there, but it's certainly understandable why they got rid of him. They don't like honest and honorable people. -RKO-
