All economy's work or progress forward based on savings, productivity, and diversification. Communism is flawed in that it can't in any way guarantee any of those things....in fact, it goes against them in many ways.

This is why you don't see a lot of communist economists, because it wildly impractical...mere idealism in practice.

There's no competitive desire to produce at higher rates, there's no capital retention, and diversification is hard to do when it's centralized. It's a moot ideaology and theory.

Capitalism is an idea as well, but it's based on the rather practical workings of controlled chaos. While communism wishes to retain power structures, capitalism is constantly at war within itself...leaving the structure room to expand and compete. Communism dogmatic ways it's own downfall.

Generally, they do not instill sense of advancement for most of their general labor pool. There is no incentive for the average person to work a hard 40/50/60 hours a week. Additionally, I know personally their farmers would just hang up their boots for the day once they got their time in leaving crops to be tended to and allow them to rot/spoil. Culture of no way out and advancement for working hard.

Second, to that is the party class that controls the communist government and lives likes royalty.
