Ok..here is the deal. I just bought a Digital Camcorder. I am trying to burn the contents of the SD card onto a DVD-RW disc. Here is the thing..it's not working. My computer (purchased in 2003) doesn't come with a DVD Burner..only audio. So..do I have to buy a seperate device..or can I buy DVD Burner software to save my home videos to disc? The least expensive method is always best!

Tech Man is right www.newegg.com has got good ones cheap NEC is really good i have 2500 burns on mine still works great. Some DVD Burners come with Nero. Some are OEM wich is just the DVD Drive. You can get nero from the nero.com website for a trial, then search online for a serial number and get the progam for free. But its not recommended. Good Luck man but Nero is the Best no questions asked!

You need to buy a DVD Burner, you can get a good one @ Wal Mart for $50.00 (Lite-On) -- the best are Plextor $120.
The easiest and most popular software for burning is Nero.
Just look for the box that says 16x / RW/+R -R or something similiar -- this will be a DVD burner (recorder)

I got a better deal. Go to www.newegg.com and buy the NEC 16x burner. It only costs $30. I have two of them and they work great. They are the best online store.

You've got to get the DVD burner, hon, which should include the software.

you need to purchase a dvd burner and I would recommend getting one that comes with the software NERO.

you have to buy a DVD burner(r-rw). sorry to have to tell you that but you can get them for cheap at walmart , staples,best buy,etc.you may want to look on newegg.com and other sites if you want to buy online.
