don't procrastinate. putting things off until the last minute is always a bad idea!

Take the things that sound interesting to you. And don't lag at the begining start off strong studying and keeping up with the reading and buy the books as soon as possible so that way you won't get behind. So if you do get behind you won't be so far behind.

Study little by little everyday so you won't be bombarded and rushed in the end.
