so i aksed for advice days ago about the girl who dumped me and how it hurts seeing her again... i was told to by many to tell her how i feel, so finally i did..i wrote her a pretty long letter via email. what i got in reply was a very brief response. she said she was busy right now, understands what im saying and agrees--and good ending--take care.
that's all she said. the next day we ran into each other. she was laughing. she said my letter was funny. i know i wrote a couple of funny lines but it seems like she didnt even recognize the depth of it. i know i should move on...can you just help pull myslef together, and share your thought about the situation. i dont have anyone to share my probs with bcoz im lesbian in the closet...i just need an ear i guess..my mind is so clouded right now. WHY would she do that??

Same as you met her - you can meet zillions of others. Nice cute girls out there waiting to meet YOU - lonely and they need a nice girl like YOU. time to move on and don't mourn the past.
Buy some nice clothes - fix your hair and start cruising to see who else is out there for you. I swear to you - as soon as you meet some nice new girlfriend - it will be the dawning of a brighter day for you. but get started now with a hopeful attitude.
don't let her ruin your existence and your future. let it go and find someone better.

I think she thinks she is doing you a favour, by acting like there is no problem to the past relationship. She properly wants a friendship and to end on good terms. Hence why the jokes and brief email not highlighting high she feels on the subject. I know from experience that girls who don't want to talk about why they broke up, or the past relationship, and only want to joke around and not really recognise how hurt you actually are, are only afraid of hurting you more, so please don't take it personally. I honestly think you should just cut your losses and keep the friendship. Do you think it had anything to do with you still being in the Closet? some girls struggle in a relationship with some one still in the closet because it feels like they aren't a part of your life, or feels they are hidden from everyone who is important to you. If you don't mind me asking why are you afraid to come out? I am sure you will be alright : )

You have experienced a hurt that is hard to deal with. And it seems as though she took the break up lightly. To me it seems like it is her loss. You are trying to deal with feelings that you have not had and there is no quick fix. Keep busy and do not focus on her. Focus on you and be confident in yourself. It hurts at first but it will get better. Just get into some activities and keep busy to get your mind off it.

she's a jerk your better off without her. don't be pathetic find someone else. i know it's hard and it seems like the end of the world. if you go around all mopey all that will happen is she gets an ego boost.DON"T GIVE THE @#@%$ THE SATISFACTION
