Buy a flash card reader, maybe about $40 or cheaper in any decent computer store. You can buy one that only read one media, but most now can read a variety of flash media.

The easiest way is to purchase a sd to usb adapter. They are fairly common. Many HP's come with media card readers built-in. You can also purchase multi-card desktop/ usb card readers. The links are examples. Hope this helps.

These products also allow you to transfer pics to the sd card. Staples, Best Buy, Circuit City and probably even Wal-Mart should all carry something of this sort.

Get a media reader. It's a device that can hook up about five different media cards. They only cost about $15. You stick that device onto the USB drive of your computer, and the SD card goes into the device.
