hmm, the definition of ironic is as follows:

1. containing or exemplifying irony: an ironic novel; an ironic remark.
2. coincidental; unexpected: It was ironic that I was seated next to my ex-husband at the dinner.

so another example is as follows:

it is ironic that my parents still live together after threatening to leave multiple times!

No, I don't. I don't even think I have a tounge. I do, however, have a tongue and I do understand irony. It's when you are trying to be funny and miss the point.
