Y=MX+B
so identify which number is next to the X, that will be your slope. The other number is the Y-intercept.
First problem:
Y=-2X+3
the -2 is next to the X so it is the slope (M)
the 3 is by itself so it is the Y-intercept (B)
the other two problems are the same way

Y= -2X+3 M=______ B=______
Y=X-6 M=______ B=______
Y=1/4X+5 M=______ B=______
The number before the X variable is always the slope, and the number after the slope is the y-intercept.
y=mx+b
y= slope (x) + b or y intercept
m = slope
b = y-intercept
I'll do the first one for you.
Y= -2X+3 M= -2 B=3

#1 ~ M = -2 & B= 3
#2 ~ M = 1 & B = -6
#3 ~ M = 1/4 & B = 5
The formula is y=mx+b
So if you had the points (-7,-8) and (2,10)
Your slope would be 2
And your y intercept would be 6
your final equation for that line would be
y = 2x + 6
The slope is always beside the x and should be written before the y intercept, which is by itself.
The y intercept is the b in the formula!
Well, I hope this helps!

Well, when you're looking at an equation, the standard "y =" format is y = mx + b, m being the slope and b being the y-intercept. so for example, the first problem you had:
y = -2x + 3
look at it as y = mx + b
so m (slope) = -2 or -2/1
and b (y-intercept) = 3
and so on like that for the rest of the problems.
Hope it helps!

1) m=-2x y-int=3
2)m=1 y-int=-6
3)m=1/4 y-int=5
To find the y-intercept, set x equal to zero. The slope is the a in y=ax+b format

the general formula is y=mx+c
where m=slope
c=y intercept.
so applying this, you can find the answer to all of your questions.
iam not sure if this is right. been a long time since i did these kinds of problems
