Coulda, shoulda, woulda. What IS your point???
I have been disgusted with many people in our country lately. It deeply saddens me how our country has so divided itself by way of rumors, party bickering, and accusations of all sorts about world affairs. It is just best to listen to President Bush very carefully and listen so well that you are not judging him as he talks. He is a strong leader with an immense global crisis, but not because of his own doing. If we had never invaded Iraq, do you really think that America would be free of hostile global politics. Do you think if we had a different, maybe Democratic president the past 4 years, that terrorists would just be hanging out in the Middle East playing cowboy and Indian in their little harmless terrorist training camps?

Number one. The choice was right about fighting terrorist. They could have given people who were in the know doing their job as they see fit. They could have these problem solved already if they could have just stick to their preliminary concerns about fighting terrorism. Instead, they decided to invade Iraq, which never really made any sense in the first place. It was a stupid mistake made by the Clinton and Bush administrations. The CIA was already onto the true leader who had terrorized every country. Suffice to say that I need not mention who the leader is. They haven't found him, yet, after so many years.

The nameless, faceless sub-humans that control this country behind-the-scenes ordered Bush to unconstitutionally and illegally invade Iraq, which in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.A.
Bush attacked Iraq for three really lame reasons:
1) The Bush family has had a personal vendetta against Hussein ever since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was humiliated and highly criticized for not "finishing the job" and ousting Hussein at that time;
2) The giant U.S. military-industrial complex needed a new 'war' to boost its sagging profits;
3) Dick Cheney and his Exxon-Mobil buddies wanted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so they could get richer and richer and richer as they continued to feed Americans' dependency on foreign OIL.
The events of 9-11-01 had nothing to do with Iraq; but the Bush administration used this emotional tragedy as a reason to take over that country. The U.S. is NOT interested in bringing democracy to Iraq. The U.S. only wants all of Iraq's OIL.
If the U.S. really presumes it will leave Iraq anytime soon, then WHY is it building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the headquarters of the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration???
We will maintain a presence in Iraq until we have sucked every drop of OIL out of that country's sand.
Bush could have done anything instead of going to war with Iraq. There is no justifiable reason for the deaths of 655,000 Iraqis and 2,800 U.S. soldiers. Bush should be tried for crimes against humanity in an international tribunal, and - if convicted - should hang right alongside Hussein. -RKO-

Get accurate information about the wherabouts of the terrorists. Develop a global and universal response. Devlop stronger ties with other nations so they do not harbor terrorists. Do not bully other nations but support them to combat terrorists. Do not bomb civlian populations with out the approval of other nations. Find actual weapons of maess distruction before bombing the hell out of places. Deal with the world as it is rather than what he wished it could be.

He could of asked for a group hug with the terrorists! Saddam could have abided by the UN security regulations placed against him. Congress could have voted no. Hindsight is 20/20.

japan attacked us and we didnt just attack them back we started our assault on their group. there is no difference here so you are saying that was a bad Idea?
jon its called the last straw. we knew then it needed to be done but couldnt due to the facts that it couldnt be justified. that fact is we have now been shown this is not a joke. its the beginning of something that will last a long time and if you leftists refuse to admit it and keep fighting the inevitable we will never get the job done or it will cause more destruction than is needed.
