In case you apply for a work-study program

Basically it's another category of extracurricular activity. Some people might want to show colleges that they are responsible and can manage to do well in their studies while earning an income. Holding a job is an indication of maturity and productivity.

With that said, not having a job won't count against you, but having a job might help.

If you did not participate in any traditional extracurricular activities (clubs, sports, tutoring, etc.), then it shows that you were active in your community somehow and you prove to admissions officers that you are motivated and ambitious. It is also beneficial for work-study. If you have work experience, you are more likely to become hired and earn a higher hourly wage than someone with no work experience.

Yes, that's correct. It's like an extracurricular and shows that you can balance work and school (assuming you did balance them well, of course!) I'd list "bigger" jobs (e.g. longer-term or more responsible) vs. every little thing you may have done to earn money.

You don't have to answer all your past jobs but like what kind of summer jobs you have had or internships. I had to do that to.
