50 games no, but to me, they could pull out 45 if things go their way. I am sure they wish they had last years Marvin Williams draft back and they could choose Chris Paul instead, but the Hawks havent been too lucky in the draft (besides Josh Smith). They are athletic and much improved, but 50 game is a huge improvement to ask from a team that has a big culture of losing and fan disinterest. Here is one thing not looking good for their team though, 4 of their last 5 losses were by 1 point, 2 points, 5 points, 5 points and 1 point. All their wins are over 7 points for the most part. They need to start winning close games to get to 45-50 wins.

No, that would take too much work covered up. If Claxton plays like Deron Williams in this team heck yes since they are in the Eastern Conference.

Joe Johnson is fine. He's still scoring points, which is suppose to be his job since he is in the SG slot.

I think Pachulia should work harder. He isn't now what he used to be in the start of the season. Guy should get up more rebounds and block more. I dont care a thing about stats but.. 0.93 blocks for a starting center? C'mon

Josh Smith needs to do his job and help in rebounding. Atlanta has a good scoring record but they need stops too especially late in the fourth where they let most games slip

Anyway, I see them winning 40-45 this year.

They are the youngest team in the NBA, so they'll be prone to making mistakes, especially in close games. Note that they've already lost two overtimes games and another two by 3 points or less.

But talented, they are. Joe Johnson is in his prime, and Shelden Williams, Marvin Williams, Josh Childress and Zaza Pachulia are young, athletic, energetic, and are poised for greater things.

I don't think they'll win 40, the team is a train wreck.

No way, they're too young and inexperienced to pull something that great off.

Not this year, I would say more around 35.
