What is it called and any information on it? I have been told it makes you feel good and it's released during kisssing, sex, and breast feeding. It causes bonding supposedly.

You're thinking of oxytocin, not to be confused with oxycontin the painkiller. Oxytocin is the "love chemical" of the mammalian brain. It is released in response to arousal, orgasm, stimulation of the nipples (i.e. breastfeeding), childbirth, stimulating trust of others, and romantic love. It also acts as a neurotransmitter, and seems to have evolved from a hormone called vasosuppresin that regulates water retention, only with the peptide sequence read backwards with a few minor changes. Its found in all mammals and virtually all vertebrates have something like it.

There is currently a controversy around the use of this chemical because people who have been exposed to it become more trusting of others with money. It is also somewhat addictive.

Scary stuff, ain't it?

It's called Oxytocin, and it's released during orgasm, childbirth, and breastfeeding. The article I checked does NOT say that it's released during kissing.
