No tennis is not a fruity sport for boys. When you are older you will no longer play football or baseball. It may be hard to find enough people to play more than 1 on 1 basketball (hey adults have to work)
Trust me you will be happy you learned to play tennis at a young age and hopefully from a good coach.
I played football in HS and college. I had to learn tennis latter, do not make the same mistake i made.

Tennis is not fruity. My best friend's son was an all-school tennis champion. He's also a musician, an expert diesel mechanic, stock car racer, husband and soon-to-be father. It takes a lot of strength and coordination to be a good tennis player.

Well, who's going to play? You or your dad?

People like Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, etc. all have gotten multi-million dollar deals with various sporting companies because they play tennis. I believe Roddick has a racket designed for/by him, and wouldn't be surprised if the others had similar items.

It could be worse. It could be badminton. ;)

Only if you play in "pears" (sorry)
There's nothing wrong with tennis. I would think you'd have to be in great condition to be a good player and not everyone is. It would help keep you in shape for football! Good luck!!

It's only "fruity" if you intend on wearing a skirt while you play.

No, it isn't, and it is good to cross-train in several different types of athletics. Tell your dad the girls wear really short skirts or shorts.
