Today - The parents of the family that let me stay in their basement room for a year are leaving on a vacation I sent them on to China. I will be leaving before they return. I am so thankful to them for allowing me to stay and treating me like family.

Today. I posted an ad in another city looking for a long, lost friend of mine. A total stranger who doesn't know the person I was looking for was kind enough to look in her local phone book for the person's name and emailed the information to me. In a society where most people are too busy and uncaring this stranger cared enough to help me out. I was truly touched.

When a friend brought my pet crate back without my having to ask her. I am a big "Thank you" person. I always have thank you cards, etc on hand. Everyone likes to be appreciated. I thank people who open the door for me. I enjoy mailing cards out instead of e-mailing or calling. It's alot more meaningful.

I said it to my Mom today . She is helping me out with Christmas , I have an Injury that keeps me from earning a living right now .
