Read a good book which gives correct matter and answer all the questions given in the book. The idea is to be systemic. Study every day without fail for 12 hours giving break of 5 to 10 minutes after every hour and make it into three sessions.Mull over what you have read during the gap period. Before every session breathe hard four or five times. Note down important points in the note book and revise frequently.Keep a good dictionary at hand and whenever you come across an alien word check up the dictionary. Split a scientific word, you will get an inner meaning.

From personal experience, biology is mostly about memorization - i know it sounds cruel but unlike math, or physics, you can't just "get it" and do well, you must memorize all the important terms and definitions. The best way is to make flash cards, draw pictures, bring the diagrams with you, post them on fridge door, trying to visualize as you try to memorize. Most importantly, the key to doing anything well is to enjoy it. If you develop a keen interest in the subjects, it'll be come much easier and enjoyable to study. Good luck!

It depends on you, really, and how you think. But I've always found Biology to be the easiest, then Chemistry, then Physics. Not everyone feels that way though. Biology is less mathematical than the other two, that's why I found it easier.

using the cd that comes with the textbook in addition to attending lectures and taking notes always worked for me. the supplemental material on the cds that come with most biology text books really do the trick - the material is presented in a whole different way that is most of the time easier to understand.

STUDYING!! I have to stress that reading the book really helps, putting important terms and facts on flashcards and studying them often also helps. We received powerpoint slides to study (check your textbooks website or if it comes with a CD-ROM), studying old tests from previous years, if your text has a website or CD-ROM they usually have practice quizzes. I know it's not exactly fun or easy to do and it takes a lot of time but that's how its done.

im a 96 % in bio student :p . We used Campbells, and I wrote all the notes (in class and in the book) and drew all the drawings in one booklet. If evrything is in one place...its easier to study... plus in bio, you must memorize the piucture...litteraly..all the details, what is above what and the differences...make comparative deductions...
