You mean notoriously famous?
I would say that she is everything that attracts men of any nation.
Not only she is a snake charmer and a temptress, her royal blood and position gave her access to knowledge and exclusive rights that she used to the fullest since she was very young.
With her knowledge of medicine, she experimented poisons on prisoners to see which poison worked best in damaging their health. Among so many ways to suicide, she chose swallowing a snake. I guess that was the only snake she didn't have to charm.
I have no idea if she was beautiful, but if she could charm snakes, there shouldn't be anything alive that she couldn't charm.

She was the last Pharaoh of Egypt.

She was one of the few great rules of the ancient world.

Although the Romans (Octavian Julius Caesar's adopted son) tried to remove her from history but she was loved by her people. Octavian was afraid that her son Caesar Ptolemy would want to rule Rome and attacked Julius Caesar's mistress (He had a wife in Rome when he married Cleopatra in Egypt) and had Caesar Ptolemy killed to insure he would remain on the thrown.

She came to power at 17. Was able keep Egypt from falling into the control of the Romans. Had two great loves Caesar and Mark Anthony.

She was potentially dangerous to the rule of Rome, that's why enemies of Marc Antony had her murdered, making up the whole "snake suicide" thing. A classic example is the Robert Kennedy/ Marilyn Monroe coverup

Cleopatra was just another ruler of Egypt, Hollywood has made her into something she wasn't.
She certainly was a bad politician and her choice of lovers was unwise and culminated in her death at a youngish age.
