limit h tending to 0
f(x+h)-f(x)/h
=limit x-->0rt{2(x+h)}-rt{2x}/h
now use the binomial expansion and simplify

f(x) = x^.5
f(x+h) = (x+h)^.5
[f(x+h)-f(x)]/h= [(x+h)^.5-x^.5]/h
