I know I am a cheerleader, for all star, and I am getting really tired of it.
Some of these answers on here are kindof an insult to us cheerleaders.
I for one am in gifted, (Really smart)
And I am in all advanced classes.

They don't know all of the hard training that we have to go through every night for 3 hours!
I mean we work hard while they just sit and go on, and on about what we are doing.
I mean I want some help for us!!!

i know what you mean. it takes a LOT to be a cheerleader. you have to be strong to lift girls up. you have to work through things. you have to be good at what you do and practice a lot. you can't be nervous when it comes to a game. you have to smile for up to 3 hours at a time and be peppy for that long to..there not just blonde and there not stupid. a lot of them get good grades and lot are really fun outgoing and friendly. *sighs* i just wish more people would get that. i would really like to see people who think that it's not a sport and cheerleaders are like oh my god! try to do a backhand spring, a toe touch, a hurkie and ect. try to cheer for a team when they are losing 36 to 10. and boost there confidence to win the game. to be fun and nice to people. to go to practice missing out on hanging with friends in order to practice lifts, stunts, and cheers. getting really badly hurt and not being able to do anything eles but sit on the sides and cheer for the cheerleaders! to go to compititon and make 10 place. to HEAR all the sterotypes about you knowing that a lot oh people judge you befor they even take the time out to know you. and to hear that cheerleading is not a sport. while it takes just as much to do as any other sport. so for all you that think it's an "oh my god!" thing then you really are not wanting to meet nice happy people that put up with the stuff you say to them. so you know what your wrong!

Well, cheer leading is really hard. Maybe they don't have time to work on their studies or just don't want to. That is a bad stereotype. If you want to change it (if you can.) try out and git good grades or try to get someone else to.
