Richard Nixon did some good things while he was President. His foreign policy was excellent, getting us to talk to China, for example. He helped the environment, signing the law that started the Environmental Protection Agency. His domestic economic policies were a disaster. Wage and price cannot stop inflation. If it weren't for Watergate, he would be rated as a good president overall. Compared the the secrecy and scandals of our current administration, Watergate was a minor transgression.

I would. He used vietnamization to get our troops of Vietnam after no president could find a solution. He created the EPA and started to make diplomatic relations with China. I see him more as a tragic hero with a tragic flaw. Paranoia was his downfall. His is a sad story. Nixon did fine until he let the power go to his head with the Watergate coverup and the enemies list. He was monumentally better than the current Republican who has let power go to his head.

Com paired to Bush? I don't know about you but I was alive and watched the Watergate Hearing every Day on the TV I did a dance for joy when he resigned! This was my first election in which I was old enough to vote.I didn't vote for him.
