Plano, Texas is known for the heroein addicts from the late 90's which were most of my friends some of which passed away. It made national news and there was a story on 20/20, Primetime, or Dateline. One of them I can't remember.

I didn't think so. I live in a little town in IL that I would have sworn was barely a map dot. However, I went to college with a guy from Finland and my town was in his history books. So apparently people in the US haven't heard of it, but students outside of the US sometimes know of it if they have studied the history of our railroads.

Do you ever watch old tarzan movies? or the 3rd smokey and the bandit? They filmed some parts here in the springs. glass bottom boats.....underwater scenes.

my town is famous for making some of the very best gloves in the USA, leather mills and I heard that a rug made in the mills here was actually in the white house.
