when you ask a question and you have a typo or you spell a word wrong. some people comment on your spelling instead of answering the question!

It bothers me a little bit when they point out an error like that and don't answer the question, especially if it is a minor error and a good question.
Your spelling is good, it is some of the others that abuse the privilege of misspelling that make questions hard to understand.
For some reason I felt the need to run spell check on this answer.

I don't despise it. It's simply inefficient and un-entertaining, which are the two main reasons for Y!Questions.
That said, I can't be bothered reading a question if the grammar or spelling is too terrible: there's also no point to an unintelligible question.

As long as they can make out what you're trying to ask it shouldn't be a problem. It doesn't bother me anymore. When I first started it did, but then I realized it really doesn't matter.

you're right, it seems silly to nitpick about spelling unless the spelling is so atrocious that the question is unreadable.

Yeah....I always misspell things and that makes me mad when someone says something. Happen to me once a long time ago.
