A couple of thoughts...
1) you're a perfectionist, so if you don't make a decision, you can't be wrong.
2) what you want is money, but you want an easy job too, and not too many easy jobs make good money.
3) You don't want to get locked into a career that you might hate, or spend time in college on a degree you won't use.

There have been many excellent answers given none of us know you well enough to more than speculate on what's your deal.
Whos career goals are you entertaining your ideas or someone else's?
Sometimes we worry so much about what direction to go it is easier to stay put. The discomfort is at least known. AND if you find nothing that inspires you to go through a bit more discomfort for an awesome opportunity, than perhaps that is enough.
You are never given a dream without the equal capability to make it happen.. but it will take some work.
Sometimes settling for a career that will have you, just is not enough.
Good luck

you're afraid you might fail - believe me i wish i was more like you! I have failed and am stuck in the situation- which in the end is hard to get out of.
" When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get them, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either." ~Leo Burnett
At least you can learn lessons in any situation!
