I have a quest dsl modem and it gives off a wireless signal, I need to know how how to change its settings????

i have a wmp11 v.2.7 network adapter and i need to change the channel for it to work

I'm not sure if you can change settings, but I know the signal can be encrypted so that only you can use the signal. The software to do that should have been included with the product.
