the only two direct land invasion routes from foreign nations are through Mexico and Canada, (neither of which is hostile, but one has immigration issues... Canadians these days) back on track Europe and Asia have massive land borders which leave them open to attack by land in many directions... if America wished to be invaded by a European or Asian force, they would have to cross entire oceans and fight off our navy (best in the world btw) just to land troops in our borders.

If you compare the US to Europe or Asia, you'll find that the US has the oceans east and west, while north and south are friendly nations. Cuba, which is an "unfriendly" is small and not a threat, plus there's a lot of water between us. Northern Canada is the Arctic which I imagine is cold and inhospitable.
Compared to Europe and Asia, you have many nations sharing common borders and traversing between nations are easy... no oceans or mountains separate friendly and unfriendly nations.
Alexander the Great, The Roman Empire, The Mongol Hordes, The Axis all swept through Europe and Asia with ease.

We have only two countries that border us. Anyone except those two countries wanting to attack us have to fly over in which case they would be detected or they would have to sail to our shores at which time they would also be detected. Many of the countries in europe and asia are land locked or nearly land locked. They have many more miles of borderland and therefore more land to monitor. The advantage we have being bordered by two oceans is that our radar will pickup invading vessels. Radar can't pickup troops or armored vehicles. It doesn't hurt that we are the most powerful nation on the planet and would obliterate the canadians or mexicans of they tried to invade.
