ok ima get a xbox 360 i look at both pro and core the core has av cables and the pro has hd cables wat is the difference and do i need a different output ?

the only difference is that the pro with the HD cables gives you a better picture if you have a HD TV if not than it doesnt matter, but the pro will connect to both so if in the future you want to upgrade to an HD TV then you will have the cables you need

The core comes with composite RCA cables, which gives you standard definition (480i). The pro comes with component RCA cables, which is capable of delivering 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i. 720p and 1080i being high definition. If you have component (red, green, blue) connectors on your TV, then get the pro. If you have composite (yellow) connectors on your TV, then get the core. But, I would not let this be your only criteria for your decision. The pro also comes with a hard drive, which is necessary to save games, play Xbox live and play old Xbox games. I would suggest purchasing the pro.
