I can't think of anything to get my friend's parents for christmas. Known them a long time and have done things with them, trips etc. They are huge elvis fans but are very particular so i cant get anything like that. However was thinking maybe elvis pajamas but can't find anything...their house right now is a mess, doing some remodeling inside so i really dont want to get them something that would just be pushed aside and forgotten about. i dont like gift cards but if i have to i will. i was thinking like a home depot one but gift cards seem so impersonal and lack of thought and i read on yahoo they can be a waste of money. i wanted to get them sirius for the car but not sure what would be a good idea. i know her mother has mentioned that she liked it with the elvis station but i just keep thinking that it wouldnt get used. wanted to get the tivoli but if they dont like it they'll be stuck with paying for it or something. but again the house is a mess. any ideas??

I know you said how is a mess right now due to remodeling but how about a wreath or centerpiece or something? Check the web site below. My own parents are older and don't do as much to decorate because it takes to much work the putting up and taking down etc (not that age has anything to do with your question but humor me.) But I got them a centerpiece and a wreath so that they have a little more decoration (not to large and they can toss it after the season.) So anyway if your friends have a room in the house that isn't messed up or could hang a nice wreath on the front door to spruce up the place they might really like that little pick me up. So anyway check the links below. Other idea I've used as stand by with friends the last couple years how about a game we enjoy playing a game called sequence and all our friends we've invited to play have also really liked it we've also gifted catch phrase and that was a hit too.

They are remodeling the house ___ now is the time for you to take them out to eat (dinner or lunch) ---- while the house is being worked over ---- find some good wholesome meals at some places that you know they will like and make this the 25 days of Christmas on gift exchange day a card will do and say what you like to explain

You could do something simple like a box of chocolates or a basket of fruit or since they are remodeling maybe there is a tool that they need to help with the remodeling. Since they are remodeling, how about taking them out to dinner for a gift.

Since the house is such a mess I would get them some gift cards to eat out. Everyone loves to eat out and it would help them not to have to cook and clean up while they are working on their house.

try getting a picture proffetionally done at a good studio of you and your girlfriend together. then get a really nice frame and frame it. and you can get one for your girlfriend and give it to her for christmas and get you one. just an idea. good luck. merry christmas.
