Uhhm be careful with straight eye drops its not really gonna help much and you could spread it to the other eye. Pink eye or conjuctivitis is an imflamation of the conjuctiva. If you ran completely out of the drops you either keep re-infecting the eye or you will need to get some stronger rx, probably a cream. Usually you clear up before you have the ability to use up the drops unless it is an older rx, but you would probably need a cream. you need to goto a doctor for that. For now just continue to keep your hands clean so you don't spread it and try not to touch your eyes. hope this helps, good luck

When you get itchy eyes, rinse them out with cold water. That numbs the pain for awhile. Also using fake tears eye drops help. Only fake tears, for other eye drops will not work. But I'm not sure if you have that around your home. Use a cold compress to help relieve the pain. A warm compress just cooks up the infection. But it's up to you what you prefer to use. Put one on both eyes, as you try to take a short nap. If you can't open your eyes much, because of dried discharge, use Vaseline Gel, with a cu tip to wipe the dried discharge off. That will soften it, and make it easier to remove. Continually wash your hands, especially after touching your eyes, so you don't give it to others, or make it worse for your self. Take some pain reliever, for pain, at least to subside it. Then as soon as possible, get your medicine. It takes up to eight days to get over the pink eye. I hope it helped.

You can try using warm compresses. Just take a cloth and run it under warm water and hold it over your eye for 5 min at a time. Do this several times it should help.

Warm rag until you can "get to the doctor", the infection will need an antibiotic. Don't touch your eye and try to remember to wash your hands. It is contagious to others.

you really need antibiotics, but in the mean time....soak a washcloth, get it warm in the microwave and hold it on that eye, use a old washcloth that you can throw away, since pink eye is VERY contagious.
