We're looking for suggestions of funny/dorky horror movies -- something more serious than Scary Movie and Dracula Dead and Loving It", "Army of Darkness" . We are thinking of outrageous concepts -- like "Tremors" or our favorite..."The Boogens" --- something with a theme that it may possibly happen, but pretty much out of the realm of actually happening; we're looking for something that both the 4th grader and collegian will be entertained. Any ideas?

The lost boys, Evolution, House, The frighteners, Eight legged freaks, Critters, Little monsters, Drop dead fred, The little vampire

These are a few that me and my fouth grader liked. The last two arent scary but definitely funny and entertaining for both of you. Tremors is one of our all time favorites , i ll have to check out "The Boogens"

Dead Alive, Ticks, Skeeters, Mosquitos, Bubba-ho-tep (for the more funny side), Sleepwalkers (unless you actually have a 4th grader, it has some weird incest thing going on), but Shaun of the Dead is my all-time favorite horror/comedy

American Werewolf in London, an old but top movie with a superb soundtrack.

Fright Night, good laugh - classic horror fun.

The Leprachaun was supposed to be scary, but it's comical when you watch the little guy running around on the tricycle.
